The Cuban Brothers are touring the Uk and Europe and will be appearing at this years Bestival and Camp Bestival festival as well as the V Dub festival, Rickness and Jamie Olivers Big Festival.
Cuban Brothers ‘Yo Bonita’

The Cuban Brothers are unique. Born of the loins of 70’s Havana, nurtured on a diet of soulful sixty tunes and inspired by Cuban historical fact and mythology. Their fresh approach to live entertainment whips up a frenzy at every gig and their endless roll call of collaborations include Mick Jagger, Amy Winehouse, Nick Cave. Their legendary performance which combines music, riotous comedy and jaw dropping b-boy action has wowed crowds across the world, from rocking the main stage at Bestival, hosting the NME Music Awards and presenting music specials for MTV. They have also supported the likes of James Brown, De La Soul and The Prodigy.
‘Yo Bonita’ is the first studio album from The Cuban Brothers. It’s jam packed with salsa, jazz, funk and Motown madness. Singles such as the Havana-infused ‘Salsation,’ funky offering ‘Roll Call’ featuring Kurtis Blow and Abdominal and upbeat Carnival inspired ‘Mike 4 President’ have already received praise and support from the likes of Mixmag, The Daily Telgraph, Sunday Mail and BBC Radio. Gigwise has named ‘Yo Bonita’ as one of ‘their favourite albums of the year’ and Shout 4 music has called it ‘one of the best new releases to come out of 2013.’ Already released singles ‘Misdemenor’ and ‘The Finder’ have been featured on the BBC Radio 6 playlist, and The Cuban Brothers have recorded live session for the Lauren Laverne show and will soon be doing a session for the Craig Charles show. ‘Yo Bonita,’ with it’s latin grooves, Hip-Hop beats and reggae shuffles also features some spectacularly diverse guest appearances from such musical heavyweights as KT Tunstall, Tenor Fly and Kurtis Blow. Not to mention an uniquely cover of the Motorhead classic ‘Ace of Spades.’

The ‘Cuban Brothers’ are playing Concorde 2 in Brighton on March 22ndbefore embarking on a UK tour which will include festival dates such as ‘Bestival’ ‘V-Dub Festival Isle of Wight’, Inverness Rockeness Festival and Jamie Oliver and Alex James’ ‘Big Feastival’ to name a few…
